The Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics is the umbrella for leadership and ethics activities at the School and serves as an active forum for thought leadership for the teaching and research on the ethics and governance challenges confronting the current and next generation of global business leaders.
The Center regularly hosts research symposiums that serve as public forums on topics related to leadership and ethics across industries. Topics have included diversity, governance, and the financial crisis. The Center also produces research reports and features faculty research around these topics.
The Individual, Business, and Society curriculum explores issues of individual leadership and personal integrity, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility through special sessions held during Orientation, dedicated modules integrated into all core courses, and special events held throughout the year.
Bernstein Faculty Leaders and the Leadership and Ethics Board shape curriculum development and organize high-profile speaker events, experiential learning activities, and other creative sessions to engage the School in topics surrounding leadership, ethics, and governance.
Preeminent business leaders, practitioners, and thought leaders participate in the Speaker Series and other forums, sharing candid perspectives on leadership and ethics and imparting valuable advice.
