This intimate discussion will address the current state of anti-racism toward the Black and Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities following a year that exacerbated injustices and inequities within these U.S. populations. Join us for a second conversation led by Professors Modupe Akinola and Dan Wang, which will encourage honest dialogue and offer a safe space for the student voice, will speak to the commonalities and differences in these respective communities’ experiences, and how they can come together to support one another for future action.

*The first conversation was held on October 26, 2021 and Part Two has been scheduled by popular demand.

Panelists include:

  • Modupe Akinola, Associate Professor of Management and Faculty Director of The Bernstein Center
  • Dan Wang, Associate Professor of Business in Management and Faculty Co-Director of The Tamer Center for Social Enterprise

This event is part of The Phillips Pathway for Inclusive Leadership (PPIL), focusing on the essential inclusive leadership skills of managing intercultural or multiple identities and having sensitive dialogues.
