Exerting Influence Without Authority in the Workplace

Please join us for a workshop and subsequent small group coaching session on exerting influence without authority in the workplace, facilitated by Nick Tubach, MBA, PCC, Executive Coach for Leadership Lab at Columbia Business School. You will learn and practice the most effective techniques and strategies for influencing others and outcomes in the workplace at any position in the organization. Please note there are two sessions that you must sign up for: 1) Main Workshop Session from 9am-11am ET and 2) Small Group Coaching Session either from 1pm-2pm or 4pm-5pm ET. Participants will select their small group coaching session upon registration. Each session also involves 15 minutes of pre-work to be sent to registered participants one week in advance.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Learn and apply model for influencing
  • Understand personal strengths and development areas for influencing
  • Customize an approach to influencing others based upon audience feedback
  • Develop and hone a strategy to apply to a real-life influence challenge

This workshop is part of The Leadership Co-Curricular Series under the auspices of The Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character and Leadership.
