As part of Leadership and Ethics Week 2022, the Student Leadership and Ethics Board of the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co Center for Leadership and Ethics will host a panel addressing affordable housing and the increase in people experiencing homelessness in the United States. Throughout the country, skyrocketing housing costs have increased the number of rent-burdened households, and the number of people experiencing homelessness has risen, particularly in urban areas. Experts from academia and private industry will discuss what is currently being done to address these issues and what can be improved upon from a policy and free-market prospective. This discussion will be moderated by Tom Goldenberg '22 EMBA.
Panelists include:
- Dr. Jill Khadduri, Principal Associate, Social and Economic Policy, Abt Associates
- Professor Brendan O'Flaherty, Professor of Urban Economics, Columbia University
- Dr. Jonathan Woetzel, Director and Senior Partner, McKinsey Global Institute, McKinsey & Company
- Jennie Nevin, Associate Partner, McKinsey & Company
- Tom Goldenberg '22 EMBA, McKinsey & Company (Moderator)
