As part of the Under The Tree Series, the Student Leadership and Ethics Board of the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics invites you to join a luncheon and interactive group discussion on the drivers, methodology, and impact of supply chain management and the impact on workers, led by Laura Boudreau.
Laura examined a group of multinational buyers’ efforts to hold their suppliers to higher labor standards— and found that specific interventions improved workplace safety with no detectible sacrifice in terms of overall factory efficiency. This conversation will highlight ways to drive organizational change and advocate for workers’ rights as future supply chain leaders.

About Under The Tree Series
The Student Leadership & Ethics Board has initiated this platform to encourage interactive group discussions among students about the subtle interweaving of ethics and leadership among different industries and topics of interest. Some examples of topics include: ‘Responsible use of customer’s data' and ‘Ethical boundaries on exercising power and influence as a leader’. These discussions are typically led by a faculty member and are held in small groups of 5-8 CBS students.
